IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Connie Gayle
Williams
August 2, 1951 – September 4, 2023
Connie Gayle Williams (nee Taylor), age 72 and a resident of Loveland, Ohio, died on Monday, September 4, 2023, with loved ones by her side. Connie was a vibrant woman known for her warmth, joie de vivre, love of animals, and enjoyment of expressing herself through fashion and home decor.
Born August 2, 1951, she grew up in Arlington Heights, Ohio, with her younger sister, Barbara "Barb" Lynch, near her cousins Judy Bain and Cathy O'Connor. She was often spotted with her arm affectionately wrapped around a friend, radiating kindness.
As a mother, intent on providing for her children, Connie devoted her days to working and nights to training to become a court reporter, a field she worked in for nearly 40 years. She took immense pride in her four children's accomplishments, big and small.
Connie married Peter Williams on January 18, 2014. They enjoyed many adventures, traveling to Paris, Hawaii, Aruba, and beyond over more than a decade of love and friendship. Together, they were passionate about volunteer work and contributing to their community.
In recent years, she was dedicated to nurturing relationships and helping neighbors build connections with one another. Connie often opened her home to guests on holidays, creating an atmosphere of belonging. She shared her enthusiasm for life with other women as the leader of her Red Hat Society chapter and a member and leader of numerous social groups.
Her sunroom, where she watched birds, reflected her ever-bright outlook. She celebrated small joys with a heart full of positivity.
She is survived by her husband Peter Williams; sons, Mark Bowling (Victoria) and Nathaniel Costello (Sophia Greenbaum); daughter, Mikelle Powers (Daniel); grandchildren, Nicholas Bowling (Janae), Samuel Bowling (Natalie), Stephen Bowling, and Charlie Powers; and stepsons, Chad Williams (Amy) and Shaun Williams. She is also survived by her dear sister, Barbara "Barb" Lynch (James "Jim"), as well as an extended family with whom she was close.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Wanda Taylor, and her beloved son Ethan Oelker.
