Colletta Daugherty Foor died at the Laurel's in Blanchester, Ohio on March 11, 2017. She was born on January 25, 1924 in Demossville, Kentucky, the daughter of Cash and Nina Daugherty. She had three brothers, Bernard, Buford, and Alvin. In 1946, she married Wilmer Foor and had two sons, Gary Lee and Michael Ray. They had been married for 56 years when Wilmer preceded her in death, as had her parents, their son Gary, and two brothers. She is survived by a son, Michael, a brother, Alvin, four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. The grandchildren are China (Douglas) Grant, Sean Foor, Reagan "Mikki" (Scott) Hutchison, and Serina (Chris) Hardiman. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 10 - 12 PM at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, Ohio 45107, where services will be held at 12 noon with Pastor Steve Sabin officiating. Colletta was a Veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Naval Reserves (WAVES). Interment with military honors will be held at the Blanchester I.O.O.F. Cemetery following the service.
