Cloyd "Gene" Eugene Kelly, 75, of Blanchester, passed away on August 22, 2015 at his home surrounded by family. Gene was born on September 6, 1939 in Midland, Ohio to the late Clifford and Gladys Kelly. He worked as a foreman for CSX Railroad from where he eventually retired. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Gene was the dear father of Laura Kelly, Kathleen Kelly, Christopher Kelly, and Joshua (Julia) Kelly; Proud grandfather of eight. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Margaret "Peggy" Kelly; Son, Michael Kelly; Sister, Merlin Kelly. Friends will be received Wednesday, August 26, 2015 from 5-8pm at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, Ohio 45107. A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 10am at the funeral home. Interment will take place at St. Martin Cemetery.
