Claude "CW" Wages of Clarksville, OH, passed peacefully on December 11, 2024, at the age of 79. CW was born in Blanchester, OH, on May 26, 1945, to Greenberry and Vauda Mae Wages.

CW is survived by his brother, Eugene (Evelyn) Wages; sister, Kathern Willison: three nephews, Mike (Melanie) Wages, Steve (Stephanie) Wages, and Phil Wages; two nieces: Tracy (Darrin) Deel, and Missy Wages; six great nephews: Andrew (Samantha) Deel, Ben Wages, Jonah Wages, Gideon Wages, Adam Wages, and Zeke Wages; three great nieces: Chelsea Deel, Beth Wages, and Meghan Wages.

He is preceded in death by his parents, the late Greenberry and Vauda Mae Wages.

CW proudly served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam Era. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagle of Aerie #1224 Hilde-Floyd, the American Legion Post 49 of Wilmington, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6710 of Wilmington. He retired from Textron of Wilmington.

Friends will be received on Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 5-7pm followed by a service beginning at 7pm with military honors at the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home of Blanchester, 120 W. Main St., Blanchester, OH, 45107.
