Clara Anne (nee Proffitt) Philpot of Goshen, OH, passed peacefully on October 14, 2024, at the age of 68. She was born in Chateaurox, France, on March 20, 1956 to the late Wilbur and Maggie (nee Walker) Proffitt.

Clara was the beloved wife of the late Randy Alden Philpot for 48 years. Loving mother of Jeremy (Cassie) Philpot, Julia (David) Poe, and Jennifer (Ryan) Dutlinger; proud grandmother of B.J. Philpot, Chrissy Philpot, Scotty Philpot, Katie Poe, Jimmy Poe, Dylan Dutlinger, and Dakota Dutlinger; great-grandmother of Damion Philpot, Lilyana Philpot, Wesley Philpot, Madison Coffey, and Maridel Coffey. Dear friend of Kathy Brunner. She is survived by numerous bus children and many dear friends.

Clara retired as a bus driver for Goshen Local Schools after 25 years. After retirement, she returned to school transportation at Sycamore Schools for an additional 5 years. She was a faithful member of Goshen Church of God who loved to serve her church family.

Friends will be received on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 4 PM to 6 PM at the Goshen Church of God, 1675 Hill Station Rd., Goshen, OH, where service will begin at 6 PM on Saturday. Pastor James Walden officiating.
