Chuck C. Evans, of Clarksville, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on June 9, 2024, at the age of 71.

Born December 24, 1952, in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of Charles and Geneva Evans.

He was the beloved husband of Alice Evans; loving father of Guy (Penny) Evans, Rebecca (Shawn) Surber, and Maranda (Adam) Gilmore; proud grandfather of Brooklin Surber, Caden Gilmore, Khloe Gilmore, Kolbie Gilmore, Nikki Dyer, and Braden Goldsberry; great-grandfather of Oliver Dyer, Jack Dyer, and Jayson Dyer; dear cousin of Steve Coley.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents.

The funeral service will be held at 1pm on Monday, June 17, 2024, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 120 W Main St., Blanchester, where friends will be received from 11am until the time of service. American Legion Post 179 will render military honors.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial donations be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 1335 Dublin Rd, Columbus, OH 43215.
