Chris Hooks, age 49, of Loveland, passed away December 10, 2025. Devoted husband of 19 years to Marie (Musarella) Hooks. Cherished father of Caitlin, Madeline, and Christopher Hooks. Beloved son of Carol (Schloff) and the late Thomas Hooks. Loving brother of Tom Hooks and Suzanne (Chris) Kwasniewicz. Dear son-in-law of Margaret (John) Binkley. Proud uncle of Kyle, Thomas, Lauren "Kennedy", and Carrigan Hooks and Cole, Mackenzie, Bailey, and Grace Kwasniewicz. In addition to family, he is lovingly remembered by his faithful companions, Piper and Lily.

Chris was born on April 7, 1976, in Livonia, Michigan. He graduated from Farmington High School and Michigan State University. After graduation, he went on to work at Duracell before moving to Cincinnati and working for Procter & Gamble.

Outside of work, Chris devoted his time as a soccer coach for FC Storm and cherished his time with his hockey family. He loved Michigan and his time at Torch Lake, where he spent summers on the lake and winters skiing. Chris loved sports. He was an avid golfer, and if he wasn't on the golf course, you could find him watching a game and drinking a beer. He had a passion for music, especially attending live Phish and Goose concerts, among many others. Chris loved life and will be greatly missed by his many friends and family.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 19 from 5-8 PM in the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave., Loveland. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 20 at 10 AM at St. Columban Church, 894 Oakland Rd., Loveland. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to the family via Zelle to assist with an education fund for Caitlin, Madeline and Christopher.
