Christopher "Chris" Carroll Ward of Hamilton, OH. Went home to be with the Lord on September 3, 2021 at the age of 49. Born on February 27, 1972 in Cincinnati, OH. Chris graduated from the School of Creative and Performing Arts in 1990, where he was a Bassoonist. He then attended Central State University and majored in Music. Chris proudly served in the United States Navy. He was a recipient of a National Defense Service Medal. Chris loved listening to music and enjoyed watching sports, especially the Tennessee Vols. Chris is survived by his wife of 24 years, Tracy Dawn (nee Blankenship) Ward; two fur boys, Henry and Louis; mother, Pat Ward; sisters, Erica Ward and Sheena Root; brother-in-law, Scott (Brandy) Blankenship, and sister-in-laws, Carla Jenkins, Kim (Dave) Courtney; nieces, Marie Courtney, Abby Courtney, Allie Jenkins, Camry Jenkins; nephews, Colton Blankenship and Joel Courtney. Chris is preceded in death by his father, Carroll Ward; brother, Tony Ward; and mother-in-law, Linda Booth. Friends will be received from 11 AM - 12 Noon on Saturday, September 11 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 12 Noon.
