Chester Wheeler, 70 of Blanchester, OH was born on July 20, 1944 to Earl D. and Alma (nee Gerkey) Wheeler and passed away August 27, 2014 at his home.
He worked and retired as a tractor trailer truck driver and was a US Marine during the Vietnam Era.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Elaine (nee Moore) Wheeler; children, Samantha (Brian) Montag; grandchildren, Austin D., Austin M., Autumn and Kameron; brothers and sisters, Larry (Elsie) Wheeler, Bill (Carolyn) Wheeler, Curtis Wheeler, Charles Wheeler, Marilyn (Gary) Weaver, Mary (Hobert) Byrd and Theresa Riardon; aunt Lois Cave; uncle Donald Gerkey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Artie Godbey.
Friends will be received from 6-8 PM with Masonic Services at 7:45 on Thursday August 28, 2014 at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, OH 45107 where services will be held on Friday August 29, 2014 at 10 AM with Rev. Mike Polston officiating.
Interment South Lebanon Cemetery, South Lebanon, OH with Military Honors.
The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association will be escorting Chester and the rest of the procession to the cemetery.
