Cheryl Lynn (nee Gaskill) Burns of Goshen, OH., formerly of Centerville, OH. Passed peacefully in her sleep on February 10, 2024 at the age of 68. Born on May 6, 1955 in Dayton, OH.

Beloved wife of Patrick Eugene Curtiss. Loving mother of Jackie (Mike Jr.) Barnes, Jennifer (Mike) Bratton and Michael Burns and step-mother of Courtney Curtiss and Carly Curtiss. Proud granny of Cassidy Owens, Hannah Owens, Morgan Barnes, Raegan Barnes, Logan Barnes, Michael Barnes III, and the late Allie Burns. Dear sister of Greg Gaskill, Mike Gaskill and the late Randy Gaskill. Cherished daughter of the late Jack and Phyllis (nee Van Dyke) Gaskill. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.

Cheryl spent most of her life as a physical therapist. After her son was born with cerebral palsy she dedicated her life to helping him and others. She always had a smile on her face and a helping hand. Time wasn't fair to her, she will be deeply missed.

Friends will be received from 1 PM to 2 PM on Thursday, February 15 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 2 PM on Thursday. Tufts Schildmeyer Cremation Services caring for the family.
