Dear father of Lelia (Jerry) Hamm, Gloria (Victor) Tissandier Jr., Edna (Kelly) McKane, Edward (Susan) Schwegler, Gary (Sharon) Schwegler, Nora Phillips, Carolyn Cook and the late Charles William Jr. Proud grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather of 62 grandchildren. Beloved brother of Ida, Edna, Virginia, Merle and 7 other deceased brothers and sisters. Went to be with Lord on the wedding anniversary of the late Louise Maxine Schwegler, March 6, 2011 at the age of 88. Proudly served during WWII in the U.S. Merchant Marines. Charles was on the Men's Emmaus Walk in Wilmington in 2009, was a Freemason,loved to garden and worked at the Blanchester I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Charles retired from GE after 35 years of service.
