Charles Ross of Maineville. Beloved husband of 58 years to Mia (nee Canzoneri) Ross. Loving father of Deborah (Philip) Cummings and Daniel Charles (Jennifer Lund) Ross. Proud grandfather of Claire Cummings, Patrick Cummings, August Ross and Maxine Ross. Dearest brother of Patricia Hurley. Son of the late Charles and Mary (nee Dudinski) Ross, Sr. Dear brother of brother-in-law of Mary Lyle of Hobbs, NM, John (Susan) Canzoneri of Denver, CO and the late Joan (Nick) Rossi of Corning, NY. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. Passed away Thursday, November 12, 2020 at the age of 86. After earning his Ph.D. in Physics from Purdue University (1969), Charles served a two year post-doctorate at the Los Alamos National Laboratory. He was a professor of Physics and Computer Engineering at Wright State University until his retirement. Friends will be received Monday, November 16 from 6-8 PM in the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave., Loveland, OH 45140. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, November 17 at 11 AM at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 944 US 22&3, Morrow, OH 45152. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
