Charles Robert Moore (Pops), 72, of Blanchester, passed away early Saturday morning, July 13, 2013 at his home. Mr. Moore was born on January 4, 1941 a son of the late Walter and Eulalia (nee Berger) Moore. Charles was the beloved husband of Mary (nee Palmer) Moore for nearly 50 years. Dear father of Denise Moore, Charles Moore Jr., Kevin (Carol) Moore, Sheri Moore, Stephen Moore, and Michael Moore. Loving Grandfather of Adam Cornett, Matthew Helton, Amanda (DJ) Payne, Brandon Allen, Jared Wise, Ashley Moore, Daren Moore, Zachary Freeman, Ally Miles, Greg Miles, and the late Derrick Moore. Great-grandfather of Camdyn, Jaedyn, and Ashlynn Payne. Brother of Clara (Shelby) Whitaker, Bert Schmitz, Jack (Betty) Moore. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. Charles proudly served his country as a Marine for nine years before being honorably discharged. After a long career he retired as a mechanic from United Parcel Services (UPS). The funeral service will be held 1PM Wednesday July 17, 2013 at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120W. Main St. Blanchester, Ohio. Interment will follow in the St. Patrick Cemetery, Fayetteville, Ohio. Friends will be received from 11AM to 1PM Wednesday July 17 at the funeral home.
