Charles Nolan worked as a dock worker for a trucking company. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church . Surviving are Wife, Brenda Joyce Lay of Loveland, OH, Son, Houston (Tina) Lay, Son, Joe Lay, Daughter, Kathy Zadek, Daughter, Terri Parker (Kenny) Stevenson, Sister, Louna Ellington, Sister, Charlene Lang, Sister, Francis LaRue, Sister, Margaret Lay, Sister, Kathy Sluder, 13 grandchildren, also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, sister-in-law, Diane Mullians. Charles Nolan was preceded in death by Father, Houston Edward Lay, Mother, Lillian Lay, Brother, Joseph Lay, Brother, Lorenzo Lay, Brother, James Lay. Services will be held at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home (Goshen), May 8, 2012 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Bill Hounshell officiating. Interment will follow in the Graceland Memorial Gardens, Miami Twp., Ohio.
