IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Charles J. "Chuck"
Kubicki
November 4, 1939 – January 6, 2025
Charles J. "Chuck" Kubicki of Cincinnati, Ohio, age 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 6, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Kubicki; children, Charles J. "Barry" Kubicki, Jr., Kristine Kubicki, Holly Kubicki, Michael Kubicki, David Kubicki, and Brian Kubicki; fourteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Rita Kubicki; sister, Judy Kubicki; twin brother, William Kubicki; and grandson, Nicholas Bathe.
Born in Kansas City, Missouri, Chuck rose from humble beginnings to become a pillar of the Cincinnati community. As the founder of Cincinnati United Contractors "CUC", he spent nearly 5 decades shaping the city's landscape through countless developments, including the DHL hub at the CVG airport, Milford Commerce Park, TQL, and the iconic Montgomery Inn at the Boathouse. His entrepreneurial spirit and generosity helped countless businesses and individuals achieve their dreams.
Chuck was not only a real estate visionary but also a fierce competitor, in business and sports alike. Whether in tennis, basketball, or golf, he thrived on competition and made many lasting friendships through his passion for sports. His commitment to challenges never wavered— he took up kickboxing in his 50s and trained for over 20 years. Beyond his business and athletic accomplishments, Chuck had a profound impact on his community. His philanthropic efforts spanned local charities and national causes, with a particular passion for advancing cancer research at Loma Linda University Medical Center.
More than anything, Chuck believed in hard work and the power of people. He was a man of his word, a dealmaker on a handshake. Chuck's generosity knew no bounds— he always went out of his way to help countless people achieve success and offered support that changed lives. Chuck often said he was the luckiest man alive— those who knew him were equally fortunate.
In keeping with Chuck's wishes, no funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the charity of your choice.
