Charles "Buck" Gray was born April 19, 1932 to Gus and Bam (nee Howard) Gray and passed away April 14, 2018 at the age of 85. Buck loved playing pool, horse races and buying lottery tickets. He also loved fishing, watching Kentucky Wildcat Basketball, Cincinnati Reds Baseball and Ohio State Football games. He is survived by his children, Johnny (Connie) Gray, Janice (Mike) Griffith and Frankie Gray; grandchildren, Sean (Crystal) Mowry, Shannon Smith, Shalon (Carl) Hofer, Kimi Gray, Courtney Dalton, Kyle Dalton, Tyler Gray, Candace Casey, Justin Casey, Brianna Casey, Cloe Casey and Angelina Casey; great grandchildren, Mahayla Gray, Tavor Mowry, Brennan Hofer, Tre Mowry, Ty Mowry and Scarlett Smith; brothers, Dan Gray and Walter Gray; sisters, Lola Diamond, Mary Jane Gray, Anna Lois Gabbard and Beatrice Collins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma (nee Wagers) Gray; 2 infant sons, Carl Dean Gray and Charles Eddie Gray; brothers, George Gray, A.T. Gray, Enoch Gray, Bill Gray, Joe Gray, Roylee Gray and Bobby Ray Gray; and a sister Lena Francis. Friends will be received from 5-9 on Friday April 20, 2018 at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, OH 45107. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 10:45 AM at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, where friends will also be received from 9 AM until time of service.
