Charles Ray Fitzgerald, 71, of Blanchester, Ohio, passed away on September 26, 2019. Born on September 26, 1948 in Goshen, West Virginia, son of Claude Odell Fitzgerald and Ruby Louette (nee Sines) Davis. Charles was a 21-year Veteran of the United States Air Force. He also retired from Airborne Express where he worked in the aviation department. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen (nee Whiteing) Fitzgerald; dear father of Patrick Michael Fitzgerald and David Shea Fitzgerald; proud grandfather of Patrick Michael Fitzgerald II, Zachary Robert Russell, Thomas John Jay Fitzgerald, Zoe Kaitlynn Abigail Fitzgerald, and Damon Eugene Fitzgerald; and two great-grandsons. Along with his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his son, Peter Noel Fitzgerald. A private burial in West Virginia at the family Cemetery will take place at the convenience of the family.
