Charles E. Fannin, 68, of Pleasant Plain, Ohio, passed away on February 20, 2018 after a hard-fought battle with illness.
He was a very generous man that would help anyone that asked. Charles and his brother ran Fannins Auto Parts since 1979. He was very involved with his family and they meant the world to him. If he wasnt spending time with his family, you could find him working on race cars.
Charles was the beloved husband of Rosalie Fannin; loving father of Michael Fannin, Sherry (Brent) Taylor, Donald Fannin; proud grandfather of Michael, Stephanie, Jenny, Nikki, Lizzy, Tyler (Cait), Dylan, Dakota, CJ, and Corey; great-grandfather of five; dear brother of Joyce and Dean; also survived by many friends, family, and racing community.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd and Ethel Fannin; sisters, Bealuh, Addy, Peg, Wilma, Bertha, Arlene, and Letha; brothers, Boyd, Jr. and Dale; many dear friends.
A funeral service will be held at 4pm on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Butlerville United Methodist Church, 8494 OH-132, Pleasant Plain, OH 45162, where friends will be received from 2pm until the time of service.
Interment will take place at Edwardsville Cemetery.
