Charles E. Hughes of Blanchester. Beloved husband for 47 years of Dorothy M. (Barnett) Hughes, dear father of Tina Hughes, Cindy (Jim) Allessi, caring brother of Carol Sexton, Rev. Donald Hughes, Debbie Howard, Brenda Coyle, Frank Hughes, David Hughes, Teresa Spurlock, and loving pap-paw of Aaron Michael Allessi. Dec. 2, 2009 at age 65. Charlie served in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Navy Reserves for over 16 years. He was a member of the V.F.W., and a Boy Scout Leader of Troop 47 of Grace United Methodist Church, Blanchester.
