Charles David Sherrod, 74, of Midland, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 18, 2015. He was the beloved husband of 55 years to Anna Sherrod; dear father of Kathy Beddow and Danny (Debbie) Sherrod; loving grandfather of Josh (Denee) Baker, Russell (Dashia) Wood, Terri (Shane) Stroles; proud great-grandfather of five; brother of Raymond (Francis) Sherrod, Jerry ( Diane) Sherrod, and Joe (Candi) Sherrod and many nieces and nephews. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Thelma Sherrod; a nephew Travis Sherrod; and a grandson, Joey Wood. The funeral service will be held Friday, January 23, 2015 at 10am at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, Ohio 45107, where friends will be received from 9am until the time of service. Interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
