Charles “Chuck” Houston Gay, Jr. of Lebanon, Ohio. Beloved husband of Aggie Gay. Loving father of Wendy (Jeff) Johnson, Susan Dell, and Rebecca (Sean) Cottrill. Cherished grandfather of Abigail (Drew) Partin, Claire Johnson, Grant Johnson, Carter Dell, Tatum Dell, Ian Cottrill, Evann Cottrill, and Bryce Cottrill. Devoted son of the late Charles and Mary Carter Gay. Dear brother of Susan (G Dickson) Gribble and the late Marcia (Alan – surviving) Hildreth. Passed away April 18, 2026 at the age of 87. His presence in our lives was steady and guiding, and his love will continue to shape us in the days ahead.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 10-11 AM on Saturday, July 11 at Otterbein - Lebanon Chapel, 585 N State Route 741, Lebanon, OH  45036, where a Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM.  A reception with lunch will be immediately follow.  

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Chuck may be directed to Habitat for Humanity, Hospice of Cincinnati, or Otterbein – Benevolent Care.
