Charles Herbert Belt, 77, of Fayetteville, Ohio, passed away on November 16, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family. He enjoyed preaching, singing, playing the guitar, painting, and driving his "little red car". Charles loved his dogs, Jefferson, Trouble, and Max. He was the beloved husband of Sandra (nee Oberschlake) Belt; loving father of Bryant Oberschlake, Joy (Gary) Marlow, Viola Lynn Belt, Lisa (Tony) Lewis, Frankie (Stella) Belt, Glenda Belt, Roy (Melanie) Belt, April Salmons; proud grandfather of 31 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; dear brother of Este Belt, Francis Cann, Edith Tull, Wilma Greene, Barbara Lewis, and Christine Belt. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Estil and Ruth Ann (nee Allen) Belt; a brother, Edward Belt; great-grandson, Deklyn Abner. Friends will be received from 11am until 12pm on Monday, November 22, 2021, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St., Blanchester, Ohio, where the service will start at 12pm. Interment will take place at Westboro Cemetery, Jefferson Township.
