POYNTER Charles A. (Chuck, Charlie) of Loveland, OH., beloved husband of Norma J. (nee LaFavers) for 54 years, devoted and loving father of Jeffery (Donna), Jerrold (Christina), caring grandfather of Timothy (Catie) Smith, Jennifer (Lance) Alexander, great-grandchildren; Gavin, Caroline, Sophia & Serenity Smith, Nathaniel Poynter, Candice & Lana Alexander. Dear brother of Patricia Poynter. Cherished son of Bertha (nee Ridener) Poynter and the late Omar Poynter. Numerous nieces and nephews. Also survived by close friends that shared his life and brought joy and happiness and such wonderful memories. Chuck was employed by GE Evendale for 43 years. He was a Christian, devoted to his family and his God. His motto "One Day at a Time," as we are not promised tomorrow. Charles served in the US Army and the Korean War. Charles will have an interment with military honors at Greenlawn Cemetery. Rev. Jeffery Poynter and Pastor Joyce Charles will be officiating the service for Charles. Casketbearers will be Maurice Sininger, Hobert Howard, Tim Smith, Jeff Poynter, Jerry Poynter and Ron Neeley.
