Beloved husband of Myrtle (nee Godby) Stringer, loving father of Gary (Janice), Kenneth (Margie), Danny (Holly), Darrell (Karen) Stringer, Brenda (Lewis) Hale and the late Shirley (Gary) Gregory, dear son of the late Frank and Edrie Stringer, affectionate grandfather of Valerie (Oliver) Hawkins, Mary Beth (Ron) Corbin, Amy (Larry) Adams, Brandy (Phil) Hopper, Travis (Robin) Smalley, Todd Hale, Crystal, Thad, Zachary and Stephanie Stringer, Great-grandfather of Kaitlyn, Kyle, and Kelsey Hawkins, Paige, Luke, and Hannah Corbin, Anita and J.R. Smalley, and Sarah Adams, Dear brother of Zearn, Vern, Virl, Howard, Hawk, Jimmy, and Gerald Stringer, Darlene Bradley, Patsy Fogle, and the late Quantrell and Roy Stringer. He moved to Goshen, OH in 1955. He was a Charter member, Deacon, and Minister of Education at Hill Station Baptist Church. He retired from Ford Motor Company in 1982. .
