Cathy (nee Wolfer) Buchenau of Loveland, OH. Born on December 9, 1960 in Cincinnati, OH. Went to be with her Lord Jesus on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the age of 56. Beloved wife of 18 years to Sieghelm "Ski" Buchenau. Loving mother of Angie Pelopida, Brittany Pelopida and Zachary Pelopida. Dear sister of Linda Fissel, Gail Pennington and Melody Morris. Caring niece of Mary "Jackie" Horn. Best Friend of Pamela Manis. Cherished daughter of the late Hubert C. and Irene (nee Parrott) Wolfer. Cathy worked at Loveland Kroger for 24 years and Candle-lite for approximately 10 years. Cathy was an active and devoted member of Hill Station Baptist Church. She was a member of Rev. Wheeler's Heroes from the Hood, Class of 2017. A Home Going Celebration will be held on Monday, May 8, 7 PM at Hill Station Baptist Church, 7100 Hill Station Rd., Goshen, where friends will be received from 5 PM until the time of service. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 11 AM at Flagg Spring Cemetery, 3541 Round Bottom Rd., Newtown. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Cathy Buchenau to Hill Station Baptist Church, 7100 Hill Station Rd., Goshen, OH 45122 Pastor Phil Hopper will be the minister for Cathy's services.
