Carolyn "Petey" Pol (nee Adams) passed away on October 14, 2026, at the age of 89. She was born in Birmingham, AL on March 10, 1937, to Bennett Adams and Frances (nee Lanford) Adams. Preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, John B. "JB" Pol, her sister Virginia Schaffner and brother John Adams. She is survived by her son Don (Susan) Wykoff and daughter Cheryl (George) Goforth; four grandchildren, Cindy Arnold, Margaret Ballentine, James Wykoff, and Victoria Wykoff; and 11 great grandchildren, Hogan Arnold, Ian Ballentine, Nate Arnold, Miles Arnold, Denver Ballentine, Piper Arnold, Chase Arnold, Levi Arnold, Owen Wykoff, Cole Wykoff, and Kade Wykoff.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, October 17 at 2 PM at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Ave. Please meet inside of cemetery gate.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Queen City Hospice.
