Carolyn Elaine Gilbert, originally of Morrow, OH, went home to be with the Lord on January 31, 2025, at the age of 75. Elaine was born in Middletown, OH, on July 21, 1949.

Elaine is the cherished mother of Lynn Wichterman and John (Dena) Gilbert Jr.; loving grandmother of Derek James Gilbert, Shelby Hall (Justin) Rash, Terra Briannon Wichterman, and Kathryn Taylor (Titus) Murphy; proud great grandmother of Titus John Murphy; and dear sister of Nancy Gabbard. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Seth and Mae (nee Hall) Williams, and siblings Dan Williams, Peggy Shearer, Sandy Baty, and Charles Williams.

Elaine attended Little Miami High School, class of 1967. She retired from Sumitomo after 27 yrs.

Friends will be received from 5-6pm on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home in Blanchester where a service will begin at 6pm.
