Caroline (Carol) Ann Mowen, 76, of Williamsburg, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on August 9, 2024.

She was the beloved mother of Charles Mowen Jr., Sherry Harris (Denny), Gary Mowen (Barb), Tammy Watson (Doug); loving grandmother, Liberty Mowen, Mercedes Shaffer, Austin Shaffer, Grant Bauer, Cassie Wainscott (Ricky), Misty Moran, Brittany Dalton (Ryan), Shelby Kemp (Eric), Gary Mowen Jr. (Rachael), Dennis Jr (Danielle); proud great-grandmother of Joshua Shaffer, Xander, Skyler Wainscott, Luke Wainscott, Trent Moran, Christian Moran, Madalyn Harris, Peyton Dalton, Harper Dalton, Corbin Dalton, Cole Kemp, Rylan Kemp, Levi Mowen, Bryce, Keelan, Keaghan, Bentley, Cash, and Tristen; dear sister of, Eve Vanderpool, Bonnie Toles, Gary Cole, Dale, Cindy, and Junior.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Mowen; parents, Leonard and Josie (Daniels) Cole.

The funeral service will be held at 6 PM on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, Ohio, where friends will be received from 5 PM to 7 PM.
