Carol Derrick Warman passed away peacefully after a short illness on Easter, March 31, 2024 at the age of 88.  She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Geri Carol Warman, ex-husband Stanley K. Warman and parents Melvin and Anna Derrick. She is survived by her brother and life-long companion Donald (the late Barbara) Derrick, cherished nephew and nieces Kimball (Leslie) Derrick, Cindy (the late James) Wengert, Jennifer (Shane) Dobbs, Cindy (Neal) Johnson and numerous cousins, great nieces, great nephews of both the Warman and Derrick families and many dear friends.

Born in Dayton, Kentucky in 1935, Carol's life was a testament to her loving and giving nature. She graduated from Withrow High School and worked in the computer department at GE Evandale for 35 years. She was very devoted to her family and friends. After retirement, she lovingly cared for her aging parents and was always there for family and friends in need of assistance. Carol met regularly with groups of friends from bowling and card clubs to high school companions, GE co-workers and others. Carol also had a soft spot for animals, especially dogs.  She volunteered for several years at Bethesda North Hospital as well as at her church, Sycamore Presbyterian,

Anyone close to Carol knows what a neatnik she was! We are pretty sure she had a say in coining the phrase "A place for everything and everything in it's place." Every drawer, every closet, and every cupboard were in pristine and organized condition. She also took great pride in her appearance, her outfits always perfectly matched. On Easter Sunday, heaven got a big lesson in organization when Carol arrived!

Family and friends will be received at 9:30 and a memorial service will begin at 10:00am on May 4, 2024 at Sycamore Presbyterian Church, 11800 Mason Road, Cincinnati, OH 45249. Internment at Baltimore Pike Cemetery will be for family only. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Carol may be directed to the SPCA or Sycamore Presbyterian Church.
