Carol Jean Simpson of Pleasant Plain, OH. Went home to be with the Lord on August 28, 2021 at the age of 71. Born on December 1, 1949 in Cincinnati, OH. Beloved wife of Tom W. Simpson. Loving mother of Jeff (Jamie) Simpson and Jodi (Mike) Weber. Caring grandmother of Casey (Taylor) Allison, Kayla (Ethan) Skowronski, Ryan Weber and Katey Simpson. Proud great-grandmother of Charlotte Allison. Dear sister of May Perry and Gale Noonan. Cherished daughter of the late William and Loretta (nee Sherman) Rains. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends. Friends will be received from 4 PM - 6 PM on Thursday, September 2 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Carol Simpson to the American Cancer Society, 2808 Reading Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45206 Rev. Bob Gambriel and Rev. Roy Turner will be the minister's for Carol's services.
