Carlene Koehler went home peacefully to be with her Lord on June 7th, 2025, surrounded by her family at home.

She is survived by her children, Amy Pasqualini, Bonnie (Tom) Reynolds, Thomas (Jackie) Bray, Jill (Donald) Russell, Kathy (Larry) Burchett, and Rhonda Howard; grandchildren, Chris Koehler, Tim Curtis, Elizabeth Pasqualini, Brooke Krannitz, Lindsey Bray, Logan Bray, Craig Steele, Ian Steele, Alex Knapp, Danny Knapp, Blaine Burchett, Kayla Roush, Tanner Burchett, Hannah Burchett, Carlene Burchett, Avery Bennett, Abbigayle Greene, Ayden Bennett; 30 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Koehler; parents, Carl J. and Lorean (nee Mossman) Loeffler; grandson, Ryan Reynolds; great-grandson, Garrett Nash Greene.

Carlene was a beautician for many years and was very good at it. When she did someone's hair for the first time, they would continue to request her thereafter. She would give free haircuts to so many people that our kitchen table became a place of community and the latest town gossip.

To describe our mother, you would have to include the word "LOVE" in everything. She loved God. She loved family. She loved her neighbors and the community. She loved our country and the veterans. She loved to be busy. She loved all people. She really loved living life! And everyone who met her loved her too.

We are honored to have had her as a mother, a grandmother, an aunt, a friend and a neighbor. We will continue to honor her life by loving others as she loved us. We will continue to celebrate her love for life by living each day with an attitude of gratitude because of the thumbprint she has left upon our hearts.

Until we meet again, rest in peace knowing that you left a heritage of Hope and Love to so many.

The inurnment will take place at 10 AM on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Blanchester Cemetery.
