Carlee (nee Nickell) Childress of Sharonville, OH., formerly of Blanchester, OH. and Wolfe County, KY. Born on January 10, 1919 in Daysboro, KY. Went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 22, 2014 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Coy B. Childress. Loving mother of Gene Wayne (Barbara) Childress of Versailles, KY., Joe (Marsha) Childress of Newtonsville, OH., Marietta (the late Jeff) Hill of Milford, OH. and the late Coy Lee Childress. Proud grandmother of 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Dear sister of Bonnie Dunn, Janice Taulbee, Gennell Walker and the late Irene Cox and Kenneth Brewer. Cherished daughter of the late Carl Nickell and Etta (nee Gibbs) Brewer. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Carlee was a cook for the Blanchester School System and served as a member and officer in the Eudora Rebekah Lodge #98. Services will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 11 AM at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St., Blanchester, OH., where friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of service. Interment, Blanchester I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Springvale Baptist Church, 1700 Clark Dr., Loveland, OH. 45140. Larry Rogers of the Blanchester Church of Christ will be the minister for Carlee's services.
