Married 46 years to his soul mate and life partner. They were together doing what they loved best, touring the United States, when he passed away in his sleep of a heart attack at age 68. He is now at peace with the Lord. He leaves 3 children and their spouses who have great respect for the love he gave to them and their lives, Bruce Jr. and Gemma Fairchild, Connie and Mark Hurtt and Russell and Pat Fairchild. He will be dearly missed by his greatest pride in life, his 10 grandchildren; Amanda Fairchild, Matthew Hurtt, Aaron Hirsch, Christopher Fairchild, Aimee Fairchild, Tyler Hurtt, Seth Hirsch, Kristen Fairchild, Malena Hirsch and Keelin Hurtt. He is survived by a brother, Virgil Fairchild, nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws that he loved very much. US Army veteran of the Korean War. . He retired from the Kroger Co. after 36 years of dedicated service. He spent his final years traveling, visiting family and friends all over the country and beating just about everyone he knew at Hearts and card games.
