IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brian Michael
Albert
April 11, 1983 – September 30, 2023
Brian Albert passed away in peace on 9.30.2023. He was the devoted son of Maureen Ferrell and Gary (Marlene) Albert. He was born on 4.11.1983. Husband of Kristen and committed father of Owen, Addy, Annie, AJ and Evie. Son-in-law of Tom and Laura Westendorf.
He is remembered fondly by his equally devoted sister Jamie (Matt) Fairman as well as uncles and aunts Dan (Liz) Peake, Kathy (Bob) Hinklin and James (Rhonda) Peake. Also survived by numerous other family members.
Brian was a proud graduate of Wyoming High School class of 2001where he was a three-sport athlete participating in basketball, baseball and soccer. A natural when it came to sports. He picked up a golf club for the first time and drove the ball straight down the middle. He was that talented. A fan of all sports as a participant, coach and spectator. A lover of the local professional teams the Reds and Bengals. So devoted to the Bengals that his e-mail address began with "whodey" since he started his account.
As an adult Brian found personal fulfillment enlisting in the Navy and becoming a Seabee. In this branch of the service, he had the opportunity of being assigned to the presidential retreat, Camp David, where he had the privilege of being in direct service to both Presidents Bush and Obama. Truly a life defining experience.
His Navy career found him traveling globally, occasionally accompanying the Presidents on overseas trips and active in theaters of operation on various projects where the Navy had a presence. He was awarded numerous service citations which included a Purple Heart.
After his naval career he pursued a degree as a non-traditional student at Xavier University.
Brian was known to many and a friend to all. His greatest accomplishment was his devotion to others both family and friends. That singular focus of his life will be his greatest legacy.
