Brenda Kay Martin (nee Bickel) of Amelia, formerly of Goshen Twp., was born November 28, 1958 to Harry William and Ida Rose (nee Castor) Bickel and passed away April 25, 2020 at the age of 61. Brenda was a former member of the Goshen School Board. She enjoyed cooking, reading and loved her grandkids. She is survived by her husband, Mark T. Martin; children, Dana (Marshall) Porterfield, Sara (Mike) Leggett and Erin (Randy) Abbott; grandchildren, Layne Leggett, Case Leggett, Kinsley Porterfield, Marshall Ryan Porterfield, Cooper Abbott and Cora Jo Abbott; sisters, Becky Byrge and Belinda Monk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ryan Martin. Due to the current health concerns linked with COVID-19, the family will be holding private services at this time.
