IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bonnie Jo
Morgan
November 11, 1935 – February 20, 2026
Graveside Service
Greenlawn Cemetery
Starts at 12:30 pm (Eastern time)
Bonnie Jo Morgan (nee Huckeby) of Milford, Ohio, age 90, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 20, 2026, with her grandchildren by her side.
She was born on November 11, 1935, in Glenmary, Tennessee, to her parents, Ernie and Virdie Huckeby.
Bonnie married the love of her life, Harry D. Morgan, on August 27, 1966. Together they built a life centered around love and family. On October 22, 1967, they welcomed their only son, Roger D. Morgan.
Her family was Bonnie’s greatest joy. She was endlessly proud of them and devoted her life to her husband, raising her son, and caring for her grandchildren. In her earlier years, she enjoyed traveling, and planting large gardens alongside her husband. Many fond memories were made snapping half-runner green beans into a bucket in the garage or chasing a grandchild or two around the yard. Bonnie cherished a simple life filled with love and togetherness.
She was a strong, selfless, and nurturing woman who imparted life lessons, shared wisdom, and preserved her family’s history through storytelling. She was always a “safe space” — the steady heart that held the family together through tradition, unwavering support, and unconditional love. She will be deeply and lovingly missed.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Harry D. Morgan; her son, Roger D. Morgan; her parents, Ernie Reva (Lewallen) and Virdie Lonnie Huckeby; and her siblings, Helen Blankenship, Victor Huckeby, Reba Jones, Lonnie Austin Huckeby, and Barbara Jean Cook, and Mary Virginia.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Melinda Morgan (Joe Mattox) and Jeff Morgan; her great-granddaughter, Lylah Mattox; her daughter-in-law, Gina Morency; her beloved sister, Brenda Huckeby; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery in Milford, Ohio. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
