Billy "Bill" Gene Ray of Wilmington, Ohio, formerly of Goshen, Ohio. Born on April 4, 1952 in Pikeville, Kentucky. Billy went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at the age of 62. Beloved husband of Mossie L. (nee Boatrite) Ray. Loving father of Rachel (Jessica McFadden) Ray, Joyce (Brandon) Bell, Peggy (Danny) Fette and Ronelle (David) Smith. Proud grandfather of Tyler Bell, Alexis Fette, Megan Fette, Zoe Smith, Joseph Fette, Lucia Smith, Sydney McFadden and Declan Smith. Dear brother of Tom Irick, Fairlene (Preston) Miracle and Gail (Ace) Jones. Cherished son-in-law of Emma Louise Boatrite. Devoted son of the late Emma Jane Sturgill. Also survived by numerous family members and many dear friends. He will be missed by his stupid cat, Sami Ray. Billy loved his family first and foremost, but his other loves were science fiction, poker, fishing and hunting. Services will be held on Thursday, October 30, 12 Noon, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where friends will be received from 11 AM until the time of service.
