Bill was born to Robert and Willie Davis on April 3, 1945 and raised in Wyoming, Ohio. It was "fate" at the 1952 Wyoming May Fete that first brought the two together, Bill and Sue were chosen as the 1st grade Prince and Princess of the carnival. Wyoming High School sweethearts, they graduated in 1963 and married on June 10, 1967.

Bill went on to graduate from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, Flagler College of Business. Shortly thereafter, Bill was drafted into the US Army and proudly served his country in the Vietnam War. Annually, Bill decorated the streets of his neighborhoods with American flags for Memorial Day.

After a few years moving around with Scott Paper and adding Jennifer Lynn and Gregory William to the fold, Bill and Sue returned to Cincinnati. Bill began working for his father-in-law's home building company. They eventually bought their home on Tulane, in Pleasant Ridge, where they raised their family.

In 1979, Bill obtained his Real Estate License, followed by his Broker's license. He began working for Parchman & Oyler. He worked as a Realtor and eventually found his way into training and management with Coldwell Banker. Bill became a highly esteemed member of the Cincinnati Realtor community, elected President of the Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors in 1990 and voted Realtor of the Year in 1994.

Bill was instrumental in bringing RE/MAX to the local market, serving as trainer, manager and advocate for many years, and remained active with the company throughout his life.

After suffering a stroke in 2011, Bill could no longer drive, and Sue faithfully picked up the slack, and the keys. This was a blow to Bill's stubborn independence, but with Sue by his side, two became an inseparable, dynamic duo.

Bill enjoyed supporting his grandsons, spending weekends watching the boys play baseball, soccer and basketball! He never wanted to miss a game. He was an avid Loveland Show Choir fan, traveling the country to support his grandson. Whatever his grandsons were doing, he was there.

In the last two years, he was blessed to be able to turn the tables and care for Sue after her stroke. He became the caregiver and did everything and more for her. He was truly grateful to be able to be there for her, as she had been for him.
