Cherished grandmother of Elizabeth A. White, Samantha M. (Robbie) Barbour, Andrew M. (Jamie) White, Jessup White, Brennan White and Christa (Kenny A.) Spry. Great grandmother of Azaria White, Loreana and Lilith Barbour, Marshall, Oakley, Crase and Nora White, and Hunter and Piper Spry. Born on Wall Street, Loveland Ohio on 18 March 1930, where she was born at home. She graduated from Loveland High School in 1948. She worked in the Clifton Shirt Factory during high school, worked at General Electric Evendale Plant, then established Whites Upholstery, which was the family's primary business for 27 years. She later worked at the Kenwood Terrace Nursing Home in the food service department, and established a dried flower arrangement small business for 10 years. She was a founding and charter member of the Branch Hill Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). Was very instrumental in the establishment of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was an active member for over 55 years. She is also an active member of the Loveland United Methodist Church. She outlived and was a caregiver for her husband, four brothers, and Cousin Wanda plus numerous others. She volunteered uncountable hours at the church folding bulletins, sewing items to send overseas to those less fortunate, and sewed quilts for friends and family. She always made sure she was presentable to the public with hair, makeup and clothing. Some of her favorite activities are reading, camping at Hocking Hills, and playing keyboards. Her excellent sense of humor always made her a joy to be around. Donations may be made to the Loveland United Methodist Church or to Hospice of Cincinnati. Due to COVID, no services will be held at this time.
