Betty L. (née Helton) Toles of Goshen Township passed away on February 20, 2026. Betty was born on March 9, 1936, in Middletown.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph W. Toles; loving mother of Joe “Michael” (Kathy) Toles and Kim (Tony) Stapleton; caring grandmother of Joseph Toles, Jr., Anthony Stapleton, Heather Toles, Krystle Stapleton, and Dusty Toles; and great-grandmother of numerous great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Tommy Helton and the late Lavonne Marcum and Danny Helton, and half-sister of the late Jimmy Aldridge. Daughter of the late Thurston T. and Edith E. (née Stapleton) Helton. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 State Route 28, Goshen, where a funeral service will begin at 12:00 noon. Interment will take place at Goshen Cemetery.
