Bettie Jean (nee Smith) Turner of Loveland, OH, went home to be with our Lord on July 9, 2025, at the age of 89. Bettie was born on March 1, 1936, in Cincinnati, OH to Lester and Marguerite Smith.
She is survived by two daughters, Barb (Dennis) Rohe and Debbie Buck, one son, John (Angie) Turner III, five grandchildren, Kara (Andy) Covert, Denielle (Spencer) Bischoff, Jenna (Kam) Hale, Leah Turner, and John H. Turner IV, six great-grandchildren, Turner Covert, Leland Bischoff, Beckett Bischoff, Olive Bischoff, Amelia Hale and Nova Hale, and one brother, Bill Smith. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.
Bettie is preceded in death by her husband, John Herbert Turner Sr., parents, Lester LeRoy and Marguerite Elizabeth (nee Snider) Smith, sister, Joyce (Don) Howland, sister-in-law, Phyllis Smith and son-in-law, Bob Buck.
Friends will be received from 11 AM to 12 Noon on Tuesday, July 15 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 12 Noon on Tuesday. The interment will take place at Goshen Cemetery, Goshen TWP, OH.
Memorial donations may be made in memory of Bettie Turner to Children's Hospital, 3333 Burnet Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45229-3026.
