Bette Anne Baker (nee Wells) of Newtonsville, OH. Born on January 21, 1942 in Ezel, KY to the late Wilbur Wells and Imogene (nee Phillips) Marcelino. Went home to be with the Lord on May 5, 2020 at the age of 78. She married Ralph South in 1959 and had six beautiful children: Ralph (Diannia) South Jr., Steve South, Pat (Jim) Methard, Carol (Louis) Johnson, and the late Tony South and Danny South. In 1986 she married her best friend and had six step-children: Bill Baker, Brian Baker, Debbie Hennies, Jeanie Aston and Kelly Baker. Caring grandmother of Jamie South, Savannah South, Stevie South, Amanda South, Stephanie South, David Amann, Orie Methard, Jimmy Methard, Brisco Methard, Gibson Methard, Elizabeth Lung, Tabitha Beckelmeyer, Alex Glatte, Meranda South, Sidney South, Averiaunte Baker, Iyona Baker, Averyonna Long. Proud grandmother of 24 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Lavodies Henry, Mary Jo Hudson, Kathy Wells, Evelyn "Punkin" Nichols and the late Albert Wells, Johnny Marcelino, Tommy Marcelino, and Jack Marcelino. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends. Private services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, May 7.
