Betsy Mathews, 67, loving mother of Alison (& Scott) Braman and Kelley (& Todd) Ballish and cherished sister of Greg (& Paula) Brunette passed away on July 9, 2017. She was the ever-devoted grandmother of Amber & Colton Braman and Isabelle & Claire Ballish. Born in Long Branch, NJ, on December 13, 1949, Betsy grew up in NY and then went on to raise her family in NJ. She enjoyed spending her summers on the Saint Lawrence River at the house her grandparents built in upstate NY. Throughout her life, Betsy made time for her passions - swimming, crafting, reading, painting, and spending time with family and friends. Those who knew her well knew her special love for her furry friends. Betsy's work as a nurse demonstrated how deeply she cared about the well-being of others. She found joy in giving to others and was faithful in her devotion to God. Family and friends will be received from 10-11 AM on Saturday, July 22 at Sycamore Presbyterian Church, 11800 Mason Road, Cincinnati, OH 45249, where services will be held at 11 AM.
