Bertram E. "Bert" Moore, of Blanchester, OH, passed away June 16, 2013 at his residence in Blanchester, OH at the age of 86. Bert was born December 13, 1926, a son of the late Ernest and Mayme (nee Quitter) Moore. Bert was an Army WWII Veteran, retired from Cincinnati Milacron, Blanchester IGA , Blanchester, OH and a member of the Blanchester American Legion Post #179. Surviving are his children Warren Allen (Joanne) Moore of Lexington, KY and Bonnie Lynn (Richard) Simpson of Blanchester, OH; 4 grandchildren; Kerry Lynn Simpson, Anne (Michael) Cook, Beverly (Brad) Long, Sharon (Ronnie) Scrivner; 6 great grandchildren; Alexander Ference, Isabella Cook, Connor Cook, Alyssa Long, Olivia Long and Kaleb Long. Sisters Alice (Paul) Hill, Cleo (Gene) Fox; brother Alan (Patty) Moore; brother-in-law Jack Adams who are all from the Newtonsville, OH area. Bert is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bert was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Hilda (nee Stemmerding ) Moore , a daughter Lorri Ann Moore, and two sisters Stella Moore and Velma Adams. Friends will be received from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, OH 45107, where services will follow at 1:30 PM with Jim Krusling Officiating.
