Bernice (nee Sharp-Skarpetowski) formerly of Toledo died in her home in Loveland, OH due to complications of Pagets Disease. Married to Robert H. Nowicki for 38 years. While in Toledo, Bernice created award winning package design, catalogs, and media material for the Verdaray Lighting company. Earlier she began her career employed by advertising agencies and was very active with the Toledo Women's Advertising club for many years. Upon their relocation to Cincinnati, OH, she joined her husband in forming their own interior design studio as an equal partner and coordinated design projects in the US and abroad. An accomplised weaver, "B" created handwoven textiles for their famed projects, her textiles of woven leathers and chenille were noteworthy. Besides Robert, she is survived by her sisters, Emily of Wysocki, of Northville, Evelyn Espen of Temperance, Michigan, many nieces, nephews, dear friends and a loyal clientele Family suggests memorial contributions be directed to St. Gertrude Building Fund, 7630 Shawnee Run Rd.
