Bernard Vilvens of Blanchester, formerly of Fayetteville. Beloved husband of the late Bernice Berger Vilvens, loving father of Robert (Robyn) Vilvens, Lois (Ty) Campbell, Marilyn (George) Fenner, Bernie Vilvens, Ron (Dorie) Vilvens, Rita (Joe) Vilvens-Weisenberger, and of the late Phillip Vilvens, caring grandfather of 16 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. Dec. 10, 2004 at age 95. Bernard was in the U. S. Army-Air Corp during World War II. He was a member of St. Patrick Church, Trustee of Perry Township for 17 years, one of the first managers of Fayetteville Knothole baseball, where he managed for over 10 year.
