Obituary
Benjamin F. Akers of Lynchburg. Dear son of Mary C. Blanton Akers and of the late Virgil C. Akers, dear father of Kim (David) Feck, Benjamin Scott Akers, Anthony John (Rachel) Akers, Crystal Dawn (Jack) Robinson, dear brother of Barbara Willis, Virgil C. Akers, Jr., Larry Akers, and loving grandfather of 12 grandchildren. Ben died on Oct. 19, 2010, at age 66. Ben proudly served in the U.S. Air Force.
