Bedo Merle Akers of Milford, OH., went home to be with Our Lord and Savior on August 27, 2026, at the age of 54. Bedo was born on August 3, 1972, in Cincinnati, OH. 

Bedo was the beloved husband of Vicky Akers, the loving father of Shianne Akers, cherished son of Rev. Walter Emmerson Akers and the late Rev. Caryl Jean (nee Gaffin) Akers, dear brother of Randall Vonley (Sue) Gulley, Penny Downs, Walter Destry Akers, and Gay (Doug) West. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and many dear friends. 

Friends will be received from 10 AM to 11 AM on Tuesday, September 1 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 11 AM on Tuesday. 

The interment will take place at Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, OH., immediately following the services.
