Beatrice Hanley Mengel("B"), 89, passed away peacefully September 7th, 2017. Proceeded by her husband of 62 years, David Denton Mengel. B and David previously owned Spatz Health Foods in Cincinnati and she worked in the education department at the Cincinnati Zoo. B had a wit and a good sense of humor and she loved to laugh. B is survived by 3 children, Darby M. Van Heyst, David W. Mengel and John A. Mengel, and 5 grandchildren. She was a very loving and caring person who cherished her children and grandchildren and was very proud of each of them and their accomplishments. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. Memorials may be sent to Hospice of Cincinnati.
