Doug was a Lifelong resident of Loveland, he was born July 7, 1952, to Bertha Cole and Forrest Simpson. Devoted Husband for over 48 years to Sandra McCoy Simpson. Dedicated father to Michele Morris Rodier, and Daniel (Annie) Morris. Loving Papa to Beau (Molly) Morris, Kelsey (Ryan) Wagner, Lindsay Rodier, Nick Rodier, Jack Morris, and Vincent Morris. Great Papa to Nora and Eli Wagner. Loving brother to Vicki (Charlie) Carpenter, Janet (Mike) Rich, Stan (Kelly) McCoy. Also survived by Many nieces and nephews. Doug passed away Sunday October 22, 2023, surrounded by his loving family after an extended illness. The family requests that memorial contributions in memory of Doug be directed to University Cincinnati Transplant Center through the UC Health Foundation 3200 Burnet Ave Cincinnati, Ohio 45229.
